Oppositional Collapse....

As the country and world crumbles, we can see why the Democrats can not represent a viable path towards change. After the Democrats finished their Madison Ave-Hollywood fabrication in Denver, the Republicans and John McCain come marching in and pop the Democrat’s bubble by introducing little known Sarah Palin as McCain’s Vice-Presidential Candidate.

And what do the Democratic loyalist’s, pundits, and bloggers have to say? Oh, ‘she’s not qualified,’ ‘can you believe her seventeen year old daughter is pregnant’, or ‘she is a member of the NRA’. Blah, blah, blah… That there is my friend is what is wrong with the loyal opposition. It’s all about the image and not about the issues.

You know, I can care less that her daughter is pregnant, I can care less that she likes to hunt, and I can care less that she is under qualified by being the Governor of the 48th largest state (That did not stop all those Deaniacs from supporting the former governor of Vermont, Howard Dean).

What I am concerned with is that she comes from another oil-producing state, and we all know what kind of credentials the oil industry brings to the table. Secondly, her husband is an executive with BP-British Petroleum. For the record, BP is the only major oil company to support drilling in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), and by chance she and McCain are pro-ANWR-drilling, despite the fact every other oil company has deemed drilling in ANWR as being unfeasible. Also for the record, if drilling were to open in ANWR it would take at least ten years for that oil to reach the US market and furthermore it would not even have an effect on gasoline prices.

So, what really scares me is that while the knee-jerk-liberals react to the superficial Sarah Palin chatter, the real issues are being ignored once again. But hey why would the loyal oppositionists want to talk issues when there own Vice Presidential candidate is a war hawk and has been a stooge for the world bankers.

All that is within the conventions and the presidential elections is a front on democracy. As citizens we are better off getting involved with our local elections and acting closer to our homes, however the powers that be would rather have you engaged with the superficial chatter where your vote just doesn’t matter. Instead, as former US House Speaker Tip O’Neil had stated “All politics is local”, so get out there in the street and act locally.

“In our age there is no such thing as 'keeping out of politics.' All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia.” George Orwell

A lot of the"fluff" is indeed important, aside form the issues. The fact that she's an end-times Xtian dominionist a 72-year old heartbeat away from the presidency IS an issue in itself.
