Band Aiding A Dying Horse

I read the news today; and it seems as if the bankers and millionaires just robbed the treasury even more. The latest news shows that an economic stimulus bill has passed the Senate and now all have to do is await a compromise with the House and then the latest Chief Thief will save the country. Yeah right, and if you belief it was that simple I have a bridge to sell you in Minnesota.

While the country has been celebrating what has been paralleled to the second coming of Lincoln (to some it’s like Jesus) the economy has further spiraled downward and things still have not changed. Analysts and economists flood the airwaves telling everyone that what is needed is more money to salvage the economy, meanwhile what everyone is already forgetting that back in September we did that and all the economy did was get worse. As a reminder to those with short attention spans, Senator Obama made the call to his Democratic colleagues in the House and twisted their arms to support the failed bank bailout. Two trillion dollars later and all told the country is spiraling out of control further.

Hey, wouldn’t you suppose it would be time that the government stop trying to support a “market” system based on greed and dominance, and instead invest on creating a system based on human needs. However, the fancy Wall Streeter’s and Obamaneers insist on propping up and band-aiding a dying horse economy. Instead of moving the country forward and adopting real change, it seems as if Obama and his corporate gang want to continue the status quo. It’s about to time to get out of the old and into the new.

Nevertheless, while Congress is further bringing about the death roll, the corporate news would rather tell America that Alex Rodriguez has taken steroids than have a real discussion on what’s going. So, thanks to them I have a solution, let’s tax every professional sports player who has ever taken drugs and use the money for a stimulus. Think of it as a Sports-Sin Tax; besides professional sports have been robbing the poor just as much as the banks and Wall Street have, so why not.

As the American Corporate Global Economy further crumbles my advice to you is to move away from the failed system of greed and support business that add to the local economy. Why wait for the complete destruction to happen latter, instead support the new economy now where quality, fairness, sustainability, and practicality make sense. It might as well be now, viva la revolution.
