Which Way is the Wind Blowing ?

I remember in my days in college reading the works of George Orwell and Aldus Huxley and being flabbergasted about the vivid scenes of their futurist society that were so manipulated by the political powers in order to continue their dominance of society. I was taught that not to worry about their forecast because we live in a democracy and a free and open society. Besides according to the teachers Huxley and Orwell were concerned with totalitarian like regimes such as Hitler and Stalin. However, looking at the week that just passed, I am not so sure about that for today we have a scene too reminiscent of a scene in 1984.

Beginning with the Nobel Peace Prize, President Obama declares “A Just War,” which sounds like to me “War =Peace.”

Then we have a whole slew of criticism of an insurance laden “Health Care Reform” bill, however the American Media landscape credits Obama with a win for being able to obtain 60 votes for a compromised, of a compromised, compromised bill.

Furthermore, the American media also credits Obama with orchestrating a “deal” in Copenhagen on a Global Warming Treaty, although the international media are portraying the deal as a disaster and that nothing positive came out from it.

From the London Independent,

-“The most progressive US president in a generation comes to the most important international meeting since the Second World War and delivers a speech so devoid of substance that he might as well have made it on speaker-phone from a beach in Hawaii.”

and from the Friends of the Earth,

“Sham Deal Requires Nothing, Accomplishes Nothing”

The more I see of the news, the more I am tending to believe the weather man. At least he/she is right some of the times.

The Harder They Come, The Harder They Fall

As the campaign of Obama rose to it's historic exuberance, Americans far and wide thought that America had truly turned a page; however myself and a few others knew that President Obama was a charlatan and merely a puppet to the true forces of political power-Wall Street.

At times, I felt as if I was a lone dove, or Chicken Little screaming " the sky is falling", and as President Obama ascended to power I saw that what I though was really true and not a mere paranoia brought up in my mind.

Although, it became apparent very early there was no real criticism, unless you include the brain dead tea-baggers ralling against the non-existinent Obama Care and falsely labelled Socialism. Instead, Obama apoligists were still "giddy" over the election, or they were the ever so optimisitc who though that Obama was appointing the Wall Streeet thugs and Pentagon War-hawks as a strategy to keep his critics at bay.

Nonetheless, it has been a long year, but now after the charade of Nobel Peace Prize, we have the real Obama story in Rolling Stone. The real reason we are still asking for spare change is because of this .........................http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/31234647/obamas_big_sellout

If you ever thought change was comming, speak out now and Howl...

Create Jobs Expand War

In a surprising move President Obama this week created over 30,000 thousand jobs this week. Hey, who said that this guy does nothing but give speeches. He is more than the Speechmaker in Chief for he is the CEO in Chief. In an unprecedented move President Obama instead of sending 30,000 jobs overseas, he sent 30,000 Americans with the jobs to Afghanistan, therefore creating 30,000 job openings all across America.

On top of the initial 30,000, think of all the other jobs Obama is brilliantly creating by his noble efforts for the War of Terror. The troops in Afghanistan need uniforms, armor, and other military supplies, and someone has to make them, so why not in your district. Therefore he is creating jobs in some Congressman/Senator's district making Kevlar or socks such as in Senator Leahy’s strategic earmarking gifts.

How about the Health Care industry? The industry will reap enormous benefits from casualties and other associated traumatic experiences. All the medical equipment needed for surgery, prosthesis and continued pharmaceuticals will spawn new financial opportunities. Furthermore, with all the psychological conditions brewing, we will need therapists, law enforcement officials, and divorce counselors to handle all the problems associated with returnees to civilian life. Then because of their absence, single parents will need to hire child care and purchase expensive gifts to replace the missing parent. The multiplier effect is endless, just as war is.

Also with continued hostilities we will further perpetuate a never ending fire of hatred towards the US and allies, so after Afghanistan and Pakistan we will have to go to Iran, then Syria, or just maybe Venezuela.(You know Chavez really is the Devil) Thus we will repeat this whole cycle over and over.

Here is to hope…Obama the Great- I think he should get the Goldman Sachs/Citi-Group Award for Courage by creating a strong robust sustainable economy for America’s future.
